We were impressed with his clear communication and honest presentation, and it was for this reason we selected 5280 to install our heat pump. The true test of a company’s value comes when something unexpected comes up. In our case, we ran into a major problem—our chimney was defective. This was something that Ryan could not have anticipated. Instead of simply saying, “Look, this is your problem,” he worked with us, brainstorming ideas of how to address it. I had 5280 provide annual maintenance for my two... HVAC air conditioning units. The technician (Michael) arrived right on schedule. He was efficient, professional, and courteous. He explained exactly what would be done and why, and showed me the readings on his gauges alongside the specifications for the units to confirm they are operating in spec. He answered my numerous questions without hesitation. Top-notch service, and I will certainly call 5280 for any future HVAC needs.Update: Based upon the previous excellent service I had with 5280, I called them when my Trane furnace went out. Joe was here within 90 minutes. Promptly identified the problem, fixed it, then checked to make sure system was functioning properly. Ryan Meston came out on Saturday morning,... December 6 to check out our furnace. After inspecting it, he said that it could be fixed but it would cost at least half of what a new furnace would cost, so we decided to go with new equipment. He left information and my wife and I discussed our options. We called the following week and decided to upgrade to a heat pump and furnace system. They came on December 16 to install the system. Chris and Mike arrived at around 9:00 and started the work. Ryan came a few times during the installation. They finished at about 4:00 or 4:30. During the test, there was a problem with the old electrical connection that needed to be repaired. Ryan stayed and took care of the problem and then tested the system. They all did a great job and we are very happy with our new system.read more
