October 2025:Our TRANE heat pump still having issues. It doesn’t turn on. It’s cold in the house. We have two of them, one never had issues.. but the other one has been flaky at best.So, called Ryan @ 5280 again. Ryan came and changed whatever parts that are needed to correct the situation. Ryan has been the best. But this TRANE “thing” is a problem. We had a regular TRANE furnace that was perfectly working for 25+ years and changed it for this lousy machine…. Regret it..But 5280 has been on top of issues. I have already told them to replace this machine. The next issue, I want the machine changed - and Ryan knows it. It’s TRANE that need to get this done.Also, when Ryan was there, he saw the water heater was leaking and he fixed it and didn’t even charge me. Much appreciated the entire service. Highly recommend 5280 Heating and Air Conditioning.—————Previous:We have changed 2 furnace last year. We engaged Ryan with 5280 Heating and Air Conditioning. After the installation, we have had issues with one of the trane heat pump / furnace: where it would shut down or show errors etc. As soon as I inform Ryan, he would immediately respond and schedule the quickest to come and troubleshoot. It happened a few times. Finally Ryan was able to determine it was due to an old cable from the previous furnace installation that somehow caused the issue. It’s all working well now. The furnace was making some significant noise when it runs, which Ryan was able to change the settings to correct it. He dispatched his team to clean the filter without charging me.I would give 5280 highest rating possible.

I just had 5280 Heating & Air do my annual furnace service again. Unlike a lot of companies who advertise cheap annual checkups and then try to charge you extra for all sorts of things, 5280 (technician Michael) does a thorough job, including removing and cleaning the blower motor, as part of their standard service. If you want a comprehensive service at a reasonable price, choose 5280 Heating & Air.

This is the only company I call when I have heating and plumbing needs. These folks have replaced a water heater for me, a furnace, and two times they've come out to check my outdoor AC condensers and both times in a very transparent manner showed me the voltage meter indicating a bad capacitor. One time they fixed it for the cost of the capacitor and didn't charge the fee to come out or diagnose. This latest time because the tech, Joe, realized I had already replaced a capacitor myself on a different unit, in order to save me a big bill, he simply waived the diagnostic fee and let me take care of it on my own. This is the most honest company, local to Parker, and they squeezed me in only to not charge me for coming out at all. That says all that needs to be said.

Just want to give a shout out to Joe at 5280. I received Professional and high quality work from Joe at 5280. I had a different company that came out to clean, inspect and certify my 4 year old AC and Furnace for my homes upcoming sale and was told that I will need $6200 dollars in repairs. Highly recommended! We feel so lucky to find someone with the integrity to look out for us and not just the company’s pockets. Ryan from 5280 Heating and Air Conditioning gave us a second opinion that saved us thousands!Our HVAC suddenly stopped working. We hired another company in town to look at it. It turns out, our outside HVAC unit had a burned wire. We were told our compressor failed because it was pulling too many amps and melted the wire. Our options were a $6k compressor fix or a $10-15k brand new HVAC. They really pushed for a new HVAC because our 12 year old unit was “really old” and a new unit would have a 10 year warranty and it would save us money in the long run. We felt something was off here. They didn’t even think to change the wire to run diagnostics on the compressor.We called Ryan (the owner) for a second opinion and he was over early the next day. He looked at our furnace and HVAC. He changed out the melted wire (see picture) in our outside HVAC unit and our system came back on. There was nothing wrong with the compressor. It was running at 6amps - normal range. The compressor did not fail. It was only a loose contact that burned the wire. He saved us from an unnecessarily buying a $10k+ new HVAC.Ryan is the best! He’s honest, efficient and professional. Give him a call when your HVAC has issues.

Awesome service! Had routine annual heating check. Mike is great and a professional. Found a few minor issues and corrected them all. Even went to Home Depot to purchase a new correctly sized filter at no additional cost. I’m very impressed, which is not easy to do. Mike is a great asset to 5280 Heating and Air.

October 2025:Our TRANE heat pump still having... issues. It doesn’t turn on. It’s cold in the house. We have two of them, one never had issues.. but the other one has been flaky at best.So, called Ryan @ 5280 again. Ryan came and changed whatever parts that are needed to correct the situation. Ryan has been the best. But this TRANE “thing” is a problem. We had a regular TRANE furnace that was perfectly working for 25+ years and changed it for this lousy machine…. Regret it..But 5280 has been on top of issues. I have already told them to replace this machine. The next issue, I want the machine changed - and Ryan knows it. It’s TRANE that need to get this done.Also, when Ryan was there, he saw the water heater was leaking and he fixed it and didn’t even charge me. Much appreciated the entire service. Highly recommend 5280 Heating and Air Conditioning.—————Previous:We have changed 2 furnace last year. We engaged Ryan with 5280 Heating and Air Conditioning. After the installation, we have had issues with one of the trane heat pump / furnace: where it would shut down or show errors etc. As soon as I inform Ryan, he would immediately respond and schedule the quickest to come and troubleshoot. It happened a few times. Finally Ryan was able to determine it was due to an old cable from the previous furnace installation that somehow caused the issue. It’s all working well now. The furnace was making some significant noise when it runs, which Ryan was able to change the settings to correct it. He dispatched his team to clean the filter without charging me.I would give 5280 highest rating possible.read more

I just had 5280 Heating & Air do my annual... furnace service again. Unlike a lot of companies who advertise cheap annual checkups and then try to charge you extra for all sorts of things, 5280 (technician Michael) does a thorough job, including removing and cleaning the blower motor, as part of their standard service. If you want a comprehensive service at a reasonable price, choose 5280 Heating & Air.read more
